Beautify your skin and health by putting those banana peels you usually throw away to some good use. In fact, researchers are saying that banana peels are the secret to good health. Who would’ve guessed? Usually, our habitual instinct is to eat the insides and chuck out the skin. This might be such a waste because banana peels come with loads of high nutrients which include carbohydrates, magnesium, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12.

So you’d be missing out on an awful lot of health benefits that are certainly going to beautify your skin too. The other fact you need to know is that the sugar content is high when the peel turns black. Therefore, you should really think again before dumping your banana peel.

It’s pleasantly surprising how bananas can beautify your skin. Every time you throw a banana peel away, you throw copious amounts of nutrients and antioxidants that can do wonders to your skin. We’re talking about treating puffy eyes to fading acne scars.

All in all banana peels can do magical things for your health. Not only will you beautify your skin, but you’ll also help reduce food waste.

Beautiful Skin Complexions

There are many benefits to eating and applying banana peels to your skin. Believe it or not, but you can enjoy eating banana peels. According to research, banana peels can beautify your skin by helping to reduce wrinkles. Let’s face it, nobody wants to see a wrinkly version of themselves. But naturally, the aging process happens, and we need to remember this.

Apparently, you can beautify the skin by using banana peel as a natural method for reducing wrinkles. In a world where everybody is doing almost anything to look young, it gets really expensive after a while. Not everyone has the luxury of being able to afford plastic surgeries, lasers, and all the other scientific methods. These methods are also quite invasive and sometimes the natural, less stressful method works best to beautify skin complexion.

Make Your Own Mask

Banana peels make the best face masks. All you have to do is mash up or blend a banana peel or two with an egg yolk. You can then apply this mixture to your face and leave it on for five minutes then wash it off after five minutes. We’re not guaranteeing anything here, but according to many beauty experts, doing this consistently for a month will start showing amazing results. Better yet, banana peels help keep your skin hydrated, which will beautify your skin entirely.

Banana peels are also incredible at helping to reduce acne outbreaks and inflammation. Pimples are the worst, but according to research, banana peels are a natural cure. Don’t you despise that feeling of waking up and seeing a nice red spot smack bang in the middle of your face? It’s like, nobody said I needed a new friend. Right?

The temptation to automatically pop the pimple is super strong. However, we all know that popping pimples can make matters worse, especially when there are bacteria involved. That’s why you need to keep your banana peel and massage it on your face every day to help beautify skin.Β Apparently, you’ll start noticing the improvements quickly too. Expect the treatment to take about a week before you start showing results.

As strange as this sounds, you must give it a try. Try massaging your face with a banana peel every day until your pimple disappears. Do this twice a day. Simply cut a small piece of banana peel and rub it on the affected areas until the peel turns brown. Don’t remove the peel fibers on your skin for 30 minutes and then rub them off with a hot towel. For better results, rub this peel twice a day for a few days. This home remedy will help to reduce inflammation and beautify skin tone.

Beautify Skin By Reducing Inflammation

Bananas are extremely high in antioxidants, especially when they are green and unripe. Many people dislike the taste and texture or think they’re not safe to eat but they’re so good for you. Interestingly, green bananas contain a high amount of resistant starch and pectin. These have been linked to several health benefits that all help beautify skin. Not only that, but they’re also going to assist you in keeping your body in shape. Ripe bananas turn the starches into sugar. Whereas, green bananas have appetite-reducing effects because of their high content of fiber and resistant starch.beautify skin with banana peels oatmeal [longevity live]

Due to these wonderful properties, banana peels have the ability to also help heal psoriasis which is a skin disease characterized by red, itchy, and scaly patches. According to skin experts, all you need to do is gently apply the banana peel where the psoriasis is. Apparently, the banana peels have an incredibly moisturizing effect that reduces itchiness.

In addition, banana peels can beautify the skin by helping to remove warts. Skin therapists swear by this. Better yet, banana peels may even be able to prevent new ones from developing. Simply rub the peel on the wart or sleep with a tied peel overnight, and you are good to go.

Not everybody is going to feel comfortable doing this at first, but despite how unconventional it is, give it a go! Just be sure that your banana peel is fresh.

Lighten Up Your Eyes

Nothing can beautify skin better than bright, happy eyes can. Skin experts claim that banana peels might also be able to help lighten up dark circles under your eyes and reduce puffiness.

How do you do this? Simply flesh out the white fibers from the peel and mix them with a dash of aloe gel. The potassium in the banana peel paired with the moisturizing aloe gel will help treat under-eye bags, circles, and beautiful skin complexion. Apparently, you can also significantly help improve the appearance of scars. Also, you can use some Korean Skincare Products for getting your skin smoother and healthier.

Eat Banana Peels To Beautify Skin Complexion

It might seem weird, but apparently, banana peels are great to use in cooking, and they contain so much nutrition that it’s just a waste to throw them in the trash. They taste good too and with some creativity, you can use them in a variety of different dishes. We’ve heard that banana peel vegan bacon and pulled pork variations are very popular. When you eat them you absorb all the nutrients needed to beautify your skin.

  • The skin of 2 raw plantains/bananas, cleaned
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 5-6 shallots, sliced
  • 2 dried red chilies
  • 1 sprig of curry leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of jeera/cumin seeds
  • 2 green chilies
  • 3/4 cup grated coconut
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of oil, preferably coconut oil

Preparation

Slice your banana peel into small, thin pieces and then put it aside in a bowl, filled with water.

In a pan, add the oil. You can also include the mustard seeds and wait for them to pop. Now add the sliced shallots, red chilies, and curry leaves and sautΓ©. Add half of the turmeric powder and stir.

Now you can squeeze out water from the banana peel and add it into the pan. This is a secret dish to beautify skin. Sprinkle some salt and mix it all well. Turn the heat down to medium-low.

Allow your dish to simmer for about 10 minutes, and keep stirring every couple of minutes, to avoid sticking or burning. Whilst you wait, put the grated coconut, remaining turmeric powder, green chilies, and cumin seeds in a blender jar. Blend it or pulse it just to crush everything together.

Simply add these ingredients to the banana peel mixture and stir well. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then stir it again and cook it uncovered for another minute. Enjoy beautified skin, dish it hot,Β  serve it hot with some rice and veggies.

Be sure to chop the banana peel into small pieces so that it cooks faster. It’s best to put the banana peel into the water because it prevents the banana peel from turning dark.
