Intermittent fasting has taken the world by storm, with more and more people choosing to adopt this way of eating, including celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Kate Hudson. In fact, the latter revealed to the Wall Street Journal that intermittent fasting is an integral part of her morning routine, and it helps her start her day off right.

The Fool’s Gold actress added that while she’s not fond of diets, she prefers intermittent fasting because it helps her body and gives it all it needs, sharing that You don’t realize until you start doing that how much your body needs to be able to digest what we’ve eaten.

As for which style of intermittent fasting she adopts, Hudson says that anywhere from 14 to 16 hours is usually the break she gives her body. She usually eats around 11 or 12, and before then, she’ll usually have water, followed by her black coffee, and then she’ll drink celery juice.

Kate Hudson admits that’s she an ‘active lady’, what with her switching from functional movement training and Pilates to weights and Peloton. That said, she does point out that you don’t necessarily need to adopt an intense workout schedule.
