Expanding evidence supports that the major chronic diseases—cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases, diabetes, obesity, cancer, and the aging process itself—have common metabolic roots and thus may be susceptible to shared solutions. Metabesity 2021 names this constellation of conditions.

CEO of Intervene Immune, Inc. and Executive Director of The Clock Foundation, USA​Robert T. (Bobby) Brooke, MSc is a Biotech Entrepreneur. He is a co-founder and serves as CEO of Intervene Immune, a non-profit biotechnology company that is developing approaches for the safe regeneration of the human immune system. It is aiming to develop low-cost methods that are safe and reliable and can be made widely available to the general public. The company is seeking to reverse age-related immunosenescence, where the immune system fails with advancing age, and is a major reason we age and get age-related diseases.

Mr. Brooke is Executive Director of The Clock Foundation, a UCLA spin-out and non-profit that is speeding the availability of treatments that prolong health and life expectancy.

Mr. Brooke earned his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2003 and his M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from UCLA in 2005.
