Choosing to eat raw is a fine solution for anybody who is looking to maintain a slender and healthy body. Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is a royal who always looks stunning. It’s not easy to look as amazing as she does, but eating raw food more often and sticking to an effective exercise routine helps. Being a royal is certainly not easy. But I’d say Kate does it with such grace, and we have it for inspiration.

And to all the mothers out there, Kate has also given birth three times and still manages to keep a really fit toned and lean body. Eating raw foods more frequently may seem challenging at first, but once you get into a groove it starts to become second nature. However, Kate doesn’t share too much about her personal life with the public. Over the years, we have managed to pick up on some valuable information about her diet and exercise routine.

Whenever I see photographs of Catherine (Kate) Middleton, I am so amazed by her impeccable beauty and shape. It is said, that she loves to incorporate lots of cardio and weights into her fitness routines. She also exercises every day and does so without a personal trainer, according to Daily Mail. So often we feel as if we can’t get anywhere with our goals because getting a trainer is just too expensive. Well, if Kate can do it on her own, plus eat more raw food. Then we can all follow in her footsteps.

Eat Raw Foods And Move Like The Duchess

There’s no denying the fact that being a mother is exhausting. However, it’s crucial that you don’t ever neglect yourself as a sacrifice to look after your children. To be a successful mother and role model, you need to spend time building and improving yourself. Kate says that she never allows her parenting duties to get in the way of her workout and tries her best to find time to get her to run in as often as she can.

And make it fun! Kate often takes her dog, Lupo, with her. Not only is it a nice form of support, but it also helps you maintain an active lifestyle because you know your pet needs to stay active as well. Of course, due to life’s changes, Kate often tweaks and adapts her diet to suit her goals at that time. However, reports state that she generally aims to eat raw food at least once a week. I bet she eats raw food than that though! I mean, just look at how healthy and beautiful she looks… Her hair looks thick and healthy and her skin has an everlasting radiant glow.

Apparently, Kate chooses to eat raw food that consists of the Latin American dish ceviche as well as goji berries, watermelon salad, gazpacho, and tabbouleh. According to Marie Claire UK, she loves mixing spirulina powder in her morning kale, spinach, lettuce, cilantro, and blueberry juice smoothies.

What is Spirulina? This is a blue-green algae that’s packed with vitamins, minerals, proteins, and antioxidants. Better yet, enthusiasts claim it boosts the immune system, fights off infections, and protects against allergic reactions.

Eat Raw Foods And Keep It Clean

Kate Middleton reportedly enjoys copious amounts of wholesome fruits and vegetables daily to ensure she gets a high level of antioxidants in her diet. She also sticks to a protein-rich, clean eating plan. I’d say that to keep a body like hers, she’d have to keep abreast with the latest food trends because we are learning new things about nutrition every day. More studies are showing that eating predominantly plant-based foods with the addition of protein guarantees a very healthy mind and body.

Kate might eat raw food and follow healthy food trends, but reports do state that she doesn’t enjoy almond milk very much. Just because it’s plant-based doesn’t mean you have to eat it. You just need to figure out what you enjoy most and what your body benefits from best.

Kate has widely-reported that she turns to the Dukan Diet when she wants to shed body fat quickly. She used this diet before her wedding to lose baby weight after three pregnancies. However, this kind of diet does omit carbohydrates and focuses on protein, vegetables, healthy fats, and oils.

Personally, I am a fan of carbohydrates and believe that we need them to function optimally. It might be an effective weight-loss method, but carbohydrates are the backbone of all balanced diets. That’s why it is vital that you do your homework and get your facts straight first before plunging into this kind of diet. You never know how your body might respond.

Kate Will Eat Raw To Exercise Efficiently

If you make a conscious effort to eat clean for the majority of the time and then exercise regularly you will see very obvious changes in your appearance. Not only this, but the way you feel will change significantly too. There’s no doubt that we are all unique, and some people are simply blessed with favorable genetics. In Kate’s case, genes do play a massive role because she naturally has a lean figure.

Although this makes a big difference, even with a lean figure you still need to keep it toned and fit. Some might lean, but they won’t have defined muscle tone, strength or cardiovascular health if they do not engage in physical activity and eat raw or clean.

According to a Daily Mail insider, the mom-of-three played sports throughout her childhood and teenage years. In fact, she’s definitely quite the fitness enthusiast. And despite her busy schedule today, she still ensures that her fitness schedule never takes a back seat. I think Kate is successful with her fitness routine because she keeps it entertaining. I mean she participates in many sports such as skiing, cross-country running, hockey, and tennis which she still loves to play regularly.

And if the duchess can’t get the time to play a sport, she always gets in an hour workout session. She starts by warming up by skipping or indoor rowing, followed by interval training where she incorporates exercises like hip raises, squats, calf raises, bridges, and push-ups. The most inspirational part is that she doesn’t even require a personal trainer.

Eating Raw, Intense Exercise And Yoga

Kate sticks to keeping her exercise sessions as intense as possible. Having said this, she often alternates her workouts to keep things exciting. However, reports state that she enjoys planking the most. She incorporates different forms of planks into almost all of her hour-long workouts.

According to the Daily Mail, the three different kinds of planks that Kate uses are the front plank, the side planks (held with your body on one side), and the prone skydive plank (this is when you lie on your tummy gently raising your chest off the floor).

In addition to her eating raw and plank routine, the Dutchess loves rowing and cycling exercises and brings them into most of her workouts. She also heavily concentrates on exercising her abs by using a Swiss gym ball. Moreover, she mixes things up by incorporating a variety of functional movements in a timed workout. She reportedly embraced the CrossFit training style and focused on a number of different cardio and resistance training exercises to burn excess fat and keep her muscles strong.

And, of course, you cannot neglect yoga! Kate explains that she enjoys winding down from her high-intensity sessions with yoga. She says that it calms her mind, de-stresses her, and keeps her body supple. It is important to take this time to repair your body and enjoy long seated poses. Yoga provides your body with the necessary tools to restore and come back stronger in your next exercise sessions.

Lastly, Kate supposedly enjoys Pilates, too, which has helped her posture since having children.
