The term biohacking has gained noticeable attention over the past few years, especially because it’s been presented as a DIY form of achieving optimal health and longevity. One couple that’s at the forefront of biohacking are Anthony and Tereza Lolli, who are working to redefine the conversation around health, weight loss, and longevity.

Through their groundbreaking 5-part documentary, Biohack Yourself, which premiered last December on Amazon Prime, the couple invites audiences to explore the world of biohacking and transformation.

Biohack Yourself with Anthony and Tereza Lolli

“Being healthy is hard. Being unhealthy is hard. Choose your hard.” – Tereza Lolli

Featuring interviews with over 114 global pioneers, doctors, and influencers, Lolli’s new show, Biohack Yourself, offers a comprehensive guide to hacking health for optimal living.

Through their personal journeys—Anthony’s remarkable 125-pound weight loss and Tereza’s evolution from post-motherhood health struggles to two-time bikini world champion-the Lollis have become leading voices in the world of fitness, transformation, and biohacking.

With that, we chatted to the couple about their personal journeys, making health more accessible, and, of course, biohacking.

Becoming Super Lolli

Once known as ‘Fat Lolli’, Anthony Lolli completely transformed himself into ‘6-Pack Lolli’, losing 125 pounds and reshaping his life. Yet, as amazing as this journey was, it wasn’t linear.

“I ended up getting a gastric sleeve. I lost 50 pounds, then gained 70. I stretched the sleeve back out. I told Tereza, ‘I’m just going to die fat and happy.’”

Thankfully, he did resign himself to this fate, thanks to his daughter’s heartbreaking plea – “Daddy, you’re fat. I don’t want you to die.”

His daughter’s intervention was exactly the wake-up call Anthony needed to transform his life, especially because it was just as much about his family’s future as it was about his.

A Mindset Shift

It’s fair to say that the Lolli’s are incredibly blessed, however that doesn’t negate their experiences, as health issues such as obesity, transcend wealth, status, and privilege.

“Even if you have the means, someone cannot eat for you, someone cannot discipline you, someone cannot exercise for you,” explains Anthony, who adds that the real change, he discovered, came from mindset and support.

So, alongside his wife, he developed a strategic, results-driven plan that included expert guidance, nutrition, and unwavering accountability.

“We laid out an architectural plan. We’re real estate developers, so we saw it as building a structure: step by step, brick by brick.”

For Tereza, her wellness journey was a little different.

After competing, the two-time Bikini World Champion faced severe hormonal imbalances and autoimmune conditions. According to Tereza, extreme bodybuilding had thrown her hormones out of whack, triggering early menopause. Additionally, she also had autoimmune conditions after giving birth.

A Transformational Tool

“We love the term ‘biohacking’ because it brings everyone under one umbrella. When I was searching for answers—from homeopathic doctors to functional medicine specialists—there was no guide, no roadmap. Biohacking put all the pieces together.”

Tereza’s hormonal imbalances and health issues are what led her to biohacking, in which she and her husband found solutions for not only existing health struggles, but also ones they were unaware of.

During a conversation with a biohacker, the individual suggested a sound frequency test for Tereza, with the results revealing that her copper IUD—considered one of the safest options—had contaminated with mold, impacting her health. Removing it led to an immediate transformation, with Anthony quipping that within the first week or two, he “saw a different side of Tereza that I’d never seen before.”

The Lolli’s foray into biohacking has not only led to health transformations for themselves, but also those of their children.

For instance, their son, Legend, was misdiagnosed seven times by mainstream doctors before the couple discovered alternative healing methods. Then there’s their daughter who suffered from a golf ball-sized lymph node, yet it was only when they discovered hydrogen bath therapy that they ultimately resolved their daughter’s lymph node issue.

Documenting Biohacking

With their latest documentary, Biohack Yourself, the Lollis have collated interviews with over 114 global experts, doctors, and influencers. They’ve uncovered the latest in biohacking and in turn, created the necessary resources that one needs to take control of their health, longevity, and future,

“It’s not just a documentary; it’s an encyclopedia of health. There’s someone in it that you or someone in your family can relate to.” Anthony Lolli

In addition to the documentary and with an understanding of the need for accessibility, the couple also launched biohackyourself.com, a platform translated into 51 languages so that everyone – regardless of background and health status – can benefit from this knowledge.

The Ultimate Longevity Biohack

Through their experiences and filming, the Lollis have managed to identify key biohacks that they believe are essential for optimizing health:

  • Red light therapy for cellular repair
  • Hydrogen and oxygen therapy to energize the body
  • Structured and mineralized water for optimal hydration
  • DNA testing and personalized nutrition to tailor health interventions
  • Grounding and PEMF awareness to reduce environmental stressors: “A PEMF mat can replicate five hours of grounding in just minutes. That’s the kind of technology that can change lives.”

Yet, despite their research and abundance of knowledge, for the Lollis, their biohacking hack is simple:

“For me, my family is my main biohack. Waking up and seeing my kids and my husband fuels me with energy.” – Tereza Lolli
