Optimize healthy living with an ever-growing method of training known as ems strength training. Ems has the ability to maximize your training efforts in a short space of time. No, it’s not a quick fix or a weight loss miracle. It’s also not an easy way out of training, despite all the advertisements. However, it is a brilliantly time-savvy and technologically driven method to high-intensity strength training. Do it in conjunction with a healthy, active lifestyle, and you will reap the benefits in more ways than one.

Throughout our lives, we change and grow physically, mentally, and emotionally. Having said that, so do our fitness and health goals. One thing that remains true is that everybody requires strength training and cardio exercise to optimize healthy living. Strength training for general health purposes is vital, especially as we age. It turns out that even professional athletes turn to strength training to improve their performance and overall strength. There are many reasons why people begin training, but the benefits for everyone are the same. That’s why ems fitness can optimize healthy choices.

When you’re young, people start training for aesthetic reasons or to get a competitive edge at their sport. But when you’re older or just an average person who doesn’t necessarily live for fitness. Exercise is something you need to do to optimize healthy efforts for longer. A lot of the time people struggle to find the time to spend hours in the gym lifting weights or running on treadmills. That’s why high-intensity ems fitness is the perfect way to help you optimize your time, efforts, and health goals.

Optimize Healthy Efforts

What is ems training? Don’t worry if you’ve never heard of it before because we’re going to explain it all to you in this article. And if you have heard of it – you’ve probably been fed the wrong information. No, ems is not some gimmicky tool that can ‘shock’ your muscles into shape. Nor is it a way to get out of exercising. It’s not an easy workout either and yes, it is only 20 minutes long. But it will optimize healthy choices.optimize healthy strength gains [longevity live]

EMS is the abbreviation for Electrical Muscle Stimulation. This technology elicits muscle contraction using electrical impulses that directly stimulate your motor neurons to cause muscle. An EMS unit or device that gets connected to your body is where the electrical impulse comes from. EMS fitness creates muscle contractions that are held for several seconds at a time. The feeling is quite unfamiliar and intense when you’re trying it for the first time, but after a few sessions, you learn how to control the full-body muscle contractions.

How Does EMS Fitness Optimize Healthy Living?

EMS fitness is a form of high-intensity training, except it successfully activates almost every muscle on your body at once. This is very difficult to do when training conventionally at a gym. To reach hypertrophy or maximum muscle activation in conventional strength training you have to spend a lot more time or ramp up your exercise capacity (sometimes harmful) to get the same effect. Therefore, it optimizes health efforts as well as your time.

Normally it is your body that fires your muscles by sending electrical impulses from your brain through your central nervous system (CNS). Ems strength training does this for your brain. The ems device allows you to engage in deep, intense, and complete muscular contractions without activating (or stressing) your CNS system. Or worse, your joints and tendons. You can optimize healthy joints, bones, and muscles for life.

Better yet, your body won’t even know the difference between a voluntary contraction and an electrically stimulated one. Your body sees it as a form of stimulus and reacts to it accordingly. Ems fitness sounds outrageous because you’re wondering how you could strengthen the body with electricity. Don’t stress, because there is A LOT  of science to back ems strengthening up.

Science to Optimize Healthy EMS Training

There is a lot of recent research and clinical studies that show that using EMS in conjunction with strength training or other forms of exercise is consistently beneficial. How do you optimize health efforts like these? This is because it significantly enhances strength exercises which encourages performance gains, strength endurance, and injury prevention. Some people are under the impression that ems training alone can make miracles happen. Unfortunately, nothing can solely create change. It’s a series of consistent efforts that optimize healthy goal setting.optimize healthy sports performance [longevity live]

However, science does state that if you use EMS fitness along with strength or cardio-training, you will see the benefits. EMS and conventional training offer benefits on their own, but it’s the combination of the two where the real benefits are revealed. The Journal of Strength and Conditioning did a study that decides whether EMS can optimize healthy elite athletes to gain a performance edge. They concluded that trained and elite athletes, despite their already high level of fitness, are able to significantly enhance their level of strength to the same extent as is possible with untrained subjects.

Optimize Healthy Weight Goals

Therefore, this proves that ems provides a promising alternative to traditional strength training for enhancing the strength parameters and motor abilities in athletes and everyday people. Better yet, another study tests the effects of ems training on abdominal obesity in young women. This study is completely random and provides a different example of the effectiveness of EMS. Instead of fitness levels, this study looks at whether EMS can help you lose body fat.

A group of subjects received 30 minutes of high-intensity ems training via a series of electrodes placed on their stomachs. The subjects did these sessions three times per week for six weeks. After those six weeks, the researchers measured the subject’s waist circumference, body mass index, subcutaneous fat mass (fat under the skin), and total body fat percentage.

Guess what? The EMS significantly decreased their waist circumferences, abdominal obesity, subcutaneous fat mass, and body fat percentages. This optimized healthy efforts because the subjects didn’t change anything in their diet or their exercise routine besides using ems training.  Therefore, ems training might help prevent obesity in young women and probably men too.

Optimize Healthy Strength Gains

You’re not going to get a six-pack by just doing ems training after a few sessions. However, you will get a full-body workout that will reduce widespread back pain and increase your overall strength. Studies have discovered that EMS fitness is equal to, or better than, results from conventional strength training. One of the main reasons for this is the fact that anybody, no matter your fitness level can train with EMS. It has a low impact and has a low injury rate, which is a fast way to optimize healthy exercise programming. It’s also been shown to improve body shape and overall mood, which is very appealing to men and women of all age groups alike.

This makes ems a very effective method of training. Experts at the Institute of Medical Physics, Erlangen University, state that the technique is an efficient way to increase muscle mass without loading the joints. Moreover, it can help reduce body fat, especially in the abdominal region which can help you gain both strength and power. Another study found that EMS fitness can increase strength by 30 percent in 12 weeks. Plus, it can also activate fast-twitch muscle fibers, which are difficult to activate, especially at a lower intensity.

The bottom line

EMS fitness won’t necessarily replace other forms of exercise. But it will significantly optimize healthy living and other exercise ventures. EMS fitness is one of the best forms of strength training optimizing healthy living for all. So it might be in your best interests to give it a try, especially if you’re pressed for time and don’t enjoy lifting weights in the gym for hours on end. It’s also a  fantastic solution for athletes who want to improve performance and everyday folk who’d like to increase their overall strength, prevent injury or pain and improve their posture.
