Meet Cullen Clark

Cullen Clark is one of the Co-Founders and the current Chief Visionary Officer of Aether Apothecary, a bioceutical API manufacturer in South Africa geared to helping SMME’s bring their natural medicine, food, beverage and cosmetic product to life.

Cullen is a natural biohacker and will be leading nature walks and talks during the retreat and also sharing his extensive knowledge of  plants, flora and bioceuticals and their contribution to your longevity, as well as planetary health.

He’s focussed on the establishment of new fungal based industry that can bring innovative products to market whilst uplifting the communities that make this work possible.

Cullen has brought several brands/products to fruition with many more on the way. Additionally he has been blessed with the opportunity to collaborate with leading South African universities on projects like new compound identification as well as new fungal species discovery. His accomplishments are varied, from speaking on some of the world’s most popular science podcasts like the Mushroom Revival & the Hamilton Morris Podcasts, to giving interviews for Forbes & Double Blind magazines. But by far his crowning achievement is his discovery of a potential ancient history of fungal use in Southern Africa for his “to be” published book The Lost Muti. 

The Aether Group is one of the current leader in SA bioceutics, supplying botanical & mushroom medicine nationally as well as abroad.  They also work with 18 leading brands who now use Aether for their ingredients and manufacturing.
