When it comes to celebrities, there’s one actress whose skin always catches my attention, and that’s Jennifer Garner’s. The 52-year-old actress always appears glowing, not only in how she carries herself, but her skin looks youthful and fresh. You’d be happy to know that her skincare tips and what she does can be incorporated, and you too can achieve the Jennifer Garner glow.

Anti-Age Your Skin With Jennifer Garner’s Beauty Tips

Move your body

There is no doubt that you have heard this one before, but, that’s because it works! Exercise impacts the way your skin looks, and Garner agrees. According to Shape Magazine, the actress shared, “I do think that being consistent with workouts is a big part of having healthy skin.”

Speaking to Everyday Health, Leslie Baumann, MD, a Miami-based dermatologist, shared that exercise increases blood flow and lymph flow, both of which can decrease eye puffiness.

According to New Beauty, Garner revealed that the moment she feels her absolute best is “right after a hard workout and a shower because my skin has a lot of vibrancy.”

Wear SPF daily!

“Nothing looks better in your 50s than sunscreen in your 20s.” – Jennifer Garner, Prevention.

SPF is a product that you need to focus on and wear every single day to reduce the effects of sun damage, which can increase the risk of premature skin aging.

I’d advise that you find an SPF that you love and look forward to using every morning.

Your face, neck, and chest are one

Some of us are diligent with our skincare routines but aren’t carrying those wonderful products down to our neck and chest, which are often the first places to see the signs of aging.

“If you know my mom, you’d know she is not a skincare maven by any stretch—but she did tell me really early on that your face goes all the way to [your chest],” Garner told Prevention.

Garner advises that you not get something so fancy that you’re just barely dabbing [it on],

“You want to feel the moistness on your skin all the time. So whatever products I am putting on during the day, I put it all down my neck and decolletage.”

Cutting out alcohol

Following in the footsteps of fellow celebrities, Garner revealed to New Beauty that she had given up alcohol,

“After the pandemic, when [my friends and I] were all stuck at home, we all realized that we look better if we are not drinking,” she said.

While not drinking alcohol may result in brighter and less dull-looking skin, your longevity and health may also reap the benefits.

Takeaway

These tips may sound humble, but they are mighty, and Jennifer Garner is living proof that they make a huge difference in how your skin looks and feels. Luckily for us, they couldn’t be any easier and more accessible to add to our routines so we too can achieve the glow that Jennifer has and wears so well.
