Humble Beauty Beginnings

Believe it or not, the 55-year-old wasn’t always a beauty fanatic. Speaking to NewBeauty, Crawford revealed that her mother never wore makeup or used soap or water on her face, so she grew up not knowing about beauty products. It was only when she began her modeling career that she was introduced to the world,

Exfoliating is a great, and often underrated, beauty hack because it can have so many beauty benefits, which include clearing away dead skin and leaving you with a youthful and radiant complexion.

Happy hair

You don’t become one of the world’s biggest and most notorious supermodels without having amazing hair. So, what’s Crawford’s secret? A good wash day.

“Even though I used to think I had to wash my hair every day, as I’ve gotten older, I try to go longer between washes. Usually, it’s about every three days, so sometimes I have to plan my workouts accordingly!

While Crawford uses an amazing variety of products, we do recommend her wash day routine. Firstly, she starts off with a strengthening shampoo. We advise that you use a clarifying shampoo, free of sulfates and parabens, but rich in plant oils, aloe, and other natural ingredients.

Crawford then follows it with a conditioner that contains natural silk protein. In addition to silk protein, shea butter and as well as coconut and olive oil are great ingredients to be found in your conditioner.

Lastly, Crawford ends her wash-day routine with a restorative scalp treatment, but a deep conditioning hair mask can work just as well.

Use Your Tools

If there’s one beauty tool that Crawford enjoys, it’s definitely the gua sha,

I love a good tool, and it feels like a little bit of a home spa when I take the time to use them. I love the gua sha, especially for the tension between my eyes and if my eyes are a little puffy in the morning.

The gua sha can help promote circulation, which is great for eye bags and dull skin, and, as Crawford said, can help relieve tension.
