3 Wednesday Wellness Hacks to Live By from Dr.James DiNicolantonio
#1. Top Sleep Hacks
- Go to bed at the same time.
- Don’t have any caffeine after noon
- No big meals 2 hours before bed.
SLEEP STACK recommendation
The supplements that this doctor uses for his sleep mostly include
- Magnesium glycinate/malate 120 mg daily.
- Inositol 1 – 3 grams. When it comes to Inositol he dissolves the powder in his mouth. Dr DiNicolantoni takes this at 7. a.m. and 11 a.m. and says it gives him energy during the day, but helps him sleep really well at night.
- Glycine 2-3 grams 60 minutes before bed.
- L-Theanine also works at 200 – 400 mg an hour before bed
#2 When is it time to get a new doctor?
Dr DiNicolantonio says if your doctor tells you to do any of these things …
- Limit eggs
- Avoid red meat
- Eat plant burgers
- Stay out of the sun
- Go on a low salt diet
- Eat lots of whole grain bread
- Eat Cheerios to lower cholesterol

He says if you’re a mom or a dad, spending time on your fitness is not selfish. It is SELF-LESS. Dr DiNicolantonio believes you can’t help others if you’re sick and unhealthy.
