Meal prep, the phrase that we keep hearing from health experts and fitness fundis. Not that we mind because let’s face it. When you proactively take the time to prepare your meal in advance you make your life so much easier. Although it can be a mission to do this after a long day at work, keeping it simple does the trick. More importantly, sticking to fresh, simple, and easy meals that you can whip up. Just don’t forget about adding onions into your meals, because they might just be the secret ingredient to meal prep.

It’s funny how vegetables have been around for pretty much our entire existence. Yet we have only just realized now that certain ones are highly beneficial to our health. Of course, all vegetables are necessary for every diet. But each one offers unique properties that we can benefit from.

If you want to be a meal prep pro, then you need to pay attention to this article. Don’t cut yourself short. I know it’s really easy to sink into the complacent trap of chopping up some cucumber, chucking in some cherry tomatoes, throwing in a hard-boiled egg and some bread. That’s great, but you’re not doing yourself any extra favors. Especially if you’re in this life to create longevity for yourself. Besides taking time to enjoy the finer details in cooking not only add healthy perks to your meals, but they make your food much tastier!

Meal Prep For Dummies

This is a task that gets very personal and the quality of your meal prep highly depends on the kind of person you are. How much time and effort are you prepared to put into meal prep. That’s the question you need to ask yourself before jumping into it. My advice is not to go and prepare a massive amount of the same dish and then force yourself to eat the same thing every day. Just try to think at least a day in advance to save yourself time and from grabbing expensive and unwanted snacks at work. Besides, meal prep is totally worth your time, especially when you know what you need to add to every meal.
