There are several strengths and formulations of chemical peels available to you. These are often used in conjunction with other aesthetic treatments. A chemical peel has the ability to significantly restore the quality and texture of your skin and treat problems such as pigmentation, acne and uneven skin tone. Dr. Reza MiaΒ explains.

No surgery needed

Aging and sun-damaged skin may develop redness, blemishes, facial veins and pigmentation, deep wrinkles, cancerous or precancerous lesions or spotting. Many people are looking for a simple way to improve their skin without surgery, a facelift or injectables.

Indeed, over half a million people have a session performed each year. There are a wide variety of peels available, each with its own unique benefits. It is important to be educated about the use of theseΒ  chemical peels, and whether they may be right for you.

A chemical peel uses a chemical solution, usually an acid, which β€˜peels’ away the top layers of the epidermis in order to improve conditions such as acne, irregular pigmentation or wrinkles. Chemical peels have been in use for a number of years. They are a highly popular way to improve the texture and look of skin.

Use the safest chemical peels on the market

Peels help to stimulate epidermal production to revitalise the skin. It allows for better absorption of skincare products by increasing the permeability of the skin. Patients taking Retin-A may be more sensitive and should notify their doctor.

I only use the safest peels available on the market. After a thorough evaluation of your skin, expectations and skin type, I advise my patients on the appropriate treatments available. The choice of peel also depends on the downtime and recovery period required by each individual patient

Where can you have a chemical peel?

Chemical peels are performed on the face, neck, hands, dΓ©colletage areas as well as birth marks on the body.

Versatile chemical peels

SKINTECH EASY PHYTIC SOLUTION

This is the only β€œslow release”, β€œself neutralizing”, ph:1, alpha hydroxy acids peel.

Easy Phytic solution (pH:1), the only slow release and self neutralizing mixture of alpha hydroxy acids, cannot simply be considered as only inducing an increase of desquamation rate, as it would be the case for other alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) peels that we were using in the past. Easy Phytic does not induce a visible desquamation but its action is much deeper than a classical fruits acids peel, since its slow release and self neutralizing technology allow it to directly stimulate the dermis, what other AHA peel only can do indirectly. Easy Phytic application is not painful and is technically simple to do.

Thanks to the self neutralization, no basic products will be applied on your skin. The result will be a progressive restructuration of skin architecture, a strong revitalization, refreshing your skin. Easy phytic penetration is very uniform and does not need any pre-peel skin conditioning. Post peel daily care will protect your skin and help you to get better results. Sun protection is mandatory after any kind of peel.

EASY TCA peel

When it comes to a chemical peel which is most versatile and safety, EASY TCA peels should be considered.Β  Thanks to the specific β€˜Post Peel Mask’ that stops pain immediately and post peel inflammation. This is the most comfortable peel for the patient… and for the physician. Applied in just a few minutes, 1/week during four weeks. It makes the skin peel the same way as a sun burn.

The skin rejuvenates and tenses again progressively, the skin tone becomes more uniform, acne can be dramatically improved. Easy TCA can be applied up to the papillary dermis.

This chemical peel is recommended for:

  • Teenagers skin problems
  • Skin rejuvenation
  • Pigment problems
  • Lentigine, keratoses
  • Photo aging
  • Special protocols for acne scars
  • Striae distensae

In summary

Always consult a medical professional when considering a chemical peel for your skin. They can significantly restore the quality and texture of the patient’s skin and treat problems such as pigmentation, acne and uneven skin tone.
