The Final Program
The Final program of The International Longevity summit is as follows:
Day 1
The first day of the program begins with registration, followed by Part 1 of the Summit, which includes Diversity and Inclusion: understanding longevity and exploring the potential of Africa’s diversity towards inclusive scientific discovery.
Part 1: Diversity and Inclusion
Aubrey De Grey, Rochelle Buffenstein, Nicola Mulder, Deepak Balaraj Thimiri Govindaraj, Yvonne Holt, David Wood and well as a panel discussion will all present on diversity and inclusion and what that entails.
Part 2: Innovation
Innovation includes many aspects in this case in terms of longevity and its relation to Africa. The speakers who will be covering this content are Maria Entraigues, Natasha Vita-More, Rozalyn Anderson, Walter Crompton, Sly Nedic, Zak Varkaris, Oleg Teterin Jr, Tinashe Dube, Ojochogwu Saba Abdul, Tamara Pheiffer, Brenda Ramokopelwa and Osinakachi Akuma Kalu. There will also be a panel discussion.
Day 2
The International Longevity Summit Day 2 will include content on translation, convergence, discovery, investment, leadership, policy, governance and advocacy.
Part 1: Translation
Andrea Maier, Sibusiso Mkwanazi, Tamara Pheiffer, as well as a panel discussion, will all be covering the concept of translation and what that means in terms of aging, longevity and the demographic in South Africa.
Part 2: Convergence
Nomusa Dlamini, Nick Enslin, Ntanga Mapholi, Holly M. Brown-Borg, and Peter Xing as well as a panel discussion, will all be covering the concept of convergence. A discussion session will also be included in part 2, which will involve a Q&A interactive session held by Tamara Pheiffer and Eileen Cheng.
Part 3: Discovery
Elizabeth Parrish, Salmaan Dalvi, Eileen Cheng, Simisola Elizabeth Oke, Lucija Sironic and Patrizia D’Alessio will present in part 3, which is indicated as discovery.
Part 4: Investment, Leadership, Policy, Governance and Advocacy
Part 4 is indicated as Investment, Leadership, Policy, Governance and Advocacy, all of which will be presented on by Meshandren Naidoo, Paul Spiegel, Stephanie Dainow, Andrea Maier, Brenda Ramokopelwa and Osinakachi Akuma Kalu. Part 4 will also include a panel discussion.
