Boho Beautiful: What Is Their Story?
The wellness collaboration was started by two people from different walks of life. Juliana is a fitness, Pilates and yoga instructor whilst Mark is a former musician who now a fitness instructor alongside Juliana for Boho Beautiful.
The concept is inspired by their Bohemian lifestyle, described as a gypsy and a wanderer. Juliana and Mark say this can apply to anyone who wants to live a free-spirited life and believes in truth, freedom, and love. “A free spirit, non conformist, hippie, wild, free thinker, wanderer, adventurous, lover of life and beauty.”
What Is Their Purpose, And Why Are They So Popular In 2017?
Boho Beautiful is creating a strong presence on social media including, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. They want to share their travel experiences and fitness awakenings with everybody. The concept of fostering a community of love, freedom and balance is what is so attractive to most of us living in a fast-paced world.
Their positive energy is drawing many people in and focuses on bringing awareness and balance to your body, mind and spirit. Furthermore, their idea of creating video content is able to contribute more to our personal positivity, love, health, and wellness.
How Did Juliana and Mark Start Their Video Channel?
According to Boho Beautiful, it wasn’t until 2014 when Mark tore his ACL and had knee surgery that it led them to create the brand. Moreover, because Mark had time during his healing process, both he and Juliana invested money into buying camera gear. By taking control of their future, they taught themselves to create fitness and yoga videos. The process of growing and making mistakes together, has brought them closer, creating a more dynamic collaboration.

1. Use Your Bath Tub as a Spiritual Escape
Juliana says running a hot bath and filling it with Epsom salt helps relieve tension and inflammation in the body caused by stress. She suggests lighting a few candles, playing some peaceful music, and allowing yourself to completely let go of all worries and stress. Another therapeutic thing to do is to take a couple of very deep breaths. “Allowing yourself to become heavier with each exhale, and sinking deeper into your beautiful bathtub oasis,” says Juliana.
2. Have a Meditative Shower
Showering and meditating are one of this duo’s favourite rituals. “Shower meditations are a great way to release negative energy that you may feel upon your body, mind, and soul. I love to include different organic handmade spiritual soaps (you can find a great selection online) to help myself wash any tension away,” she adds. It is very important to wash each part of your body in this process. Lastly, watch the water go down into the drain. This symbolically represents your mind letting go of any negativity.
3. Clean Your Space and the House
We all know that our personal space plays an important role in how we feel. It keeps you feeling calm, peaceful, and happy. Boho Beautiful says that if you come home feeling irritated, stressed, or negative, take 20-30 minutes to clean and refresh your home. Not only is cleaning a great way to release negative energy, but creating structure and freshness can help you feel comfortable, peaceful, and safe.
4. Sweat it Out
Sweating is great for releasing endorphins, removing negative energy, and releasing frustration. The two suggest going for a 15-20 minute run, doing a fitness YouTube video, or taking a boxing class. When you focus on your body, you can clear your head and sweat out bad energy. Moreover, you are also devoting time to your personal growth and wellness.

Trying out a yoga class is always beneficial. However, doing a solo yoga session with a YouTube video truly allows you to let go. According to Juliana and Mark it allows you to release stress, negativity, frustration and even sadness, because you’re in a comfortable surrounding. This can offer you valuable alone time. Lastly, the two add that “doing some deep stretches and breathing will allow your body and mind to release energy the way it does, naturally to you that day.”
