Dr. Zama Tladi

Dr. Zama Tladi completed her B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry in 2005 after which she pursued her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2006. As a senior medical student, she developed a particular interest in Dermatology and skincare. After completing her internship and community service, she permanently relocated to Pretoria in 2016, Dr. Zama has always been fond of interacting with patients throughout her medical career and encountered how much patients struggled to have self-confidence and esteem because of different skin challenges resulting from ageing, the psychological impact that flawed skin has on different individuals. As a medical practitioner, collaborating with her patients to enhance and sustain their general health and wellbeing was an aspect of her job that she thoroughly enjoyed. Following her work as a medical officer, Dr. Zama revisited her interest in Dermatology and skin rejuvenation; she began to attend various courses in Aesthetic Medicine through Medskills Training Academy, and she is now a Board-certified Aesthetician practitioner in the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. These courses gave her insight into different medical aesthetic methods of skin rejuvenation. Gaining knowledge and expertise in the treatment of different skin challenges and rejuvenation of the skin, she had training from a plastic surgeon in advanced Botulinum toxin injections and dermal filler techniques. Dr. Zama has acquired a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine – a significant certificate in the field - she has opened her private practice, Nubian Medical Aesthetics at the Summit place in the Menlyn area. In September 2019, Dr. Zama Tladi also received her certification in Aesthetic Medicine through the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
